Crafty: Cycle Necklace

I made this necklace recently from a kit that included letters, shapes, and laces. The shapes represent activities I do with Sal in the day, such as eating, cleaning up from eating, and playing. They are laced on in a particular order so that I can talk to Sal about the cycle of our day together. This system is working out very well for me because it allows me to be flexible about time without being an inconsistent parent.

  1. Hey there!
I am so glad that you are doing a blog. I love blogging and it is so easy to take a quick peek and see what friends are up to too. Plus, it is easy to have a book made eventually when which you mentioned in your email. It looks like you are really coming along with the pregnancy pictures. I don't have a cute little pregnant belly yet but it will happen within the month or so I hear. Check out my blog at kienefamily.blogspot.com!

  2. That necklace is a fantastic idea. Does it seem to be working? I don't think I am consistent enough to stick to the same routine every day, even without the constraint of clocks. I bet Sal likes that system.
